How do you clean the fringe?

Fringes are one of the greatest challenges in cleaning area rugs. Cotton is very prone to discoloring and stiffness when left wet for a long time. Removal of soil may be difficult in knotted fringes. After using the Centrum Force Centri-Maxx centrifuge, rugs are only slightly damp to touch; no water is left dripping down through the carpet. The cotton dries very quickly thus eliminating or reducing the need for post detailing of the fringe and avoiding the need for harsh chemicals or bleaches used by other rug cleaning systems. We do not use chlorinated bleaches or hydrogen peroxides as they may degrade the textiles causing powdering or shedding.
